The Weekend Plan - It's the last weekend of 2010 and after an exhausting Christmas weekend, Peony mates gathered at KB's house for an impromptu steamboat dinner. Time flies and just a decade back everyone was just welcoming the turn of the millennium!
Life's still the same, no flying cars yet ten years into the 21st century and people still go to the supermarket to shop for their steamboat buffet!
And so, we're off to the mega Sheng Shiong supermarket at the old Woodlands Central where you can get just about the cheapest groceries and foodstuff in Singapore!
Once we were done with the shopping, we headed straight back to prepare for a sumptuous dinner..
The bird's eye view of the dinner spread for ... FOUR people! Yup! Within half an hour of eating, I was already bloated to the max and we had to call in reinenforcement to help finish the food - Edward and Kaizhen, KB's sister and parents and everyone ate to their hearts' content! So that's like food for nine people...we sure know how to estimate the amount of food, WTH! =)
