Thais are one creative and humourous breed of people! From their award wining advertisements to their films, I wouldn't be surprised when Thai films start getting more recognition than it should already get.
Just finished the movie First Love (released in mid 2010) and it's another well-scripted and well-told love story (kudos to the director!).
The simple storyline revolves around a young girl's (小水）journey from her ugly duckling days in secondary school through to her blossoming into a fine young woman while documenting he struggles through friendship and the core of the story - her first love.
A beautiful love story that's sure to make you reminisce about your own secondary school days - those puppy love and infatuations..The things that the characters in the movie did or did not do will likely touch your heart and remind you of yourself in one way or another.
Whether the characters end up if their first love is for you to watch and find out.. And know what? Fairytale-like as the story may seemed, it's actually based on a true story. Sweet..
